Right-click on a folder's name or use the folder's drop-down menu (Figure 4-7) to see the options and actions that you can perform. Each of these options is discussed in the following paragraphs.

To upload a file to a folder:

NOTE: To enter the title, author, etc. for files uploaded using Upload x 10, you need to edit each file's properties (paragraph 4.3.7).
Uploading Limited Distribution Documents: If the web group supports Limited Distribution Documents (see paragraph 5.6.1), you'll see an additional line on the Upload File screens (Figure 4-12) asking you to identify whether or not the document is subject to distribution restrictions. If you select yes, then only those individual members or groups with limited distribution access privileges will be able to download the document. If you select no, then all web group members with read access to the folder in which the document is located will be able to download the document. If you select don't know, then the document will be treated as Limited Distribution.

Selecting New Folder from the folder menu (Figure 4-13) creates a folder within a folder. The procedure is the same as creating a folder on the Shared Drive (paragraph 4.1).

To change the folder's name or privileges, click on the folder name and select Edit Folder from the drop-down menu (Figure 4-14). Use the Folder Properties window (Figure 4-6) to change the name and the
and
buttons to change the privileges. Click save to change the Folder Properties or cancel to close the Folder Properties window without making any changes.

To delete a folder, select Delete Folder from folder menu (Figure 4-15). The folder must be empty before you can delete it. Paragraph 4.3.5 explains how to delete files from folders.

If the folder contains images or a mix of files that includes images, View Thumbs allows you to browse the image files.

To watch a folder, click on the folder's name and select Watch Folder from the folder menu (Figure 4-18). You'll receive an email whenever someone uploads a file to this folder.

To stop watching a folder, click on Watching Folders, then the folder name (Figure 4-19). Select Stop Watching from the folder menu (Figure 4-20).

Cut Folder allows you to move a folder and its contents to another folder.
