Jim Kern

Jim Kern, a 15 year technology veteran, founded
Epiware
to create cost-effective web based applications for all types of businesses.
Jim attended Penn State University where he obtained BS in Electrical Engineering
and MS in Computer Engineering while working at the
Applied Research Laboratory.
Jim began his career developing software for Air Traffic Control at IBM. He then worked at Concurrent Technologies where he developed software to automate manufacturing lines and processes. He later worked at Praxis inc, where he developed collaborative software and web based applications to aid engineers with designing and assembling satellites at the Naval Research Laboratory. Ryan Gilfether

A software architect and Linux systems administrator, Ryan has been programming and supporting various open source projects since 1996. He started his career working for Ball Aerospace as a programmer. In 1999 he joined Praxis, Inc. where he met Jim Kern and soon began contributing to the early versions of EPIware. Ryan continues to provide Linux systems support and develop various applications integral to keeping EPIware on the cutting edge. |
Ed Kline

Edward Kline graduated from Frostburg State University with a B.S. in Computer Science.He obtained a B.A. in Rhetoric from the University of Illinois in 1992. In 2000, he began work at Praxis, Inc. and became a great addition to the Epiware development team. In addition to his work on Epiware, Edward has developed several web based applications for research projects at the Naval Research Laboratory and subscription fulfillment software for two magazines, The American Surveyor and Professional Surveyor.With an aptitude for database design and AJAX programming, Ed is an integral part of the Epiware team. |
Ray Gorospe

Ray is an extremely talented software developer that has been involved with Epiware for over 5 years. His enthusiasm is only surpassed by his commitment to work with, and deliver custom modules to valued Epiware customers. In his spare time Ray enjoys building and racing stock street rods as well as spending time with his newborn. |
Patrick Waddingham

Passion for programming has been with Patrick for a long time. An innate knowledge of algorithm design and object-oriented programming define his working professionalism. This bright individual brings with him a B.S. in Computer Science from Penn State University and 5 years of web-based application experience.
Working with cutting-edge technologies is where Patrick thrives, and his dedication and out-of-the-box thinking put him in a crucial role on the Epiware team. |
